Hon’ble MLA Reasi, Sh. Kuldeep Raj Dubey, along with Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Ms. Nidhi Malik, IAS, and a Senior Army Official, participated in the 10th Veterans Day at Reasi and formally flagged off the Dhruva Motorcycle Rally (South of Pir Panjal), organised to honour the valour, discipline and sacrifices of India’s veterans.Addressing ex-servicemen and veterans, Sh. Kuldeep Raj Dubey paid heartfelt tributes to their exemplary service to the nation and reiterated the collective responsibility of society and the administration towards their welfare. The Hon’ble DC Reasi and the Senior Army Official also interacted with the veterans, acknowledging their lifelong contribution to national security and social stability.On the occasion, medical equipment including small health-monitoring devices such as BP monitors were distributed among the veterans as a welfare initiative. The Hon’ble MLA, along with the district administration and Army authorities, listened patiently to the grievances and concerns of ex-servicemen, assuring them of timely redressal through coordinated efforts with the concerned departments.Flagging off the motorcycle rally, the dignitaries highlighted its significance in promoting patriotism, national integration and civil-military harmony, particularly in the South of Pir Panjal region. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from veterans, defence personnel and civil administration, reflecting deep respect and solidarity with the Armed Forces.The event concluded with a renewed commitment to honour veterans and strengthen welfare measures for ex-servicemen and their families.
