𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗜 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗦𝗘𝗜𝗭𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗤𝗨𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗧 𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗡𝗜 𝗡𝗔𝗞𝗔, 𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗗 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗛𝗔 𝗠𝗨𝗞𝗧 𝗝&𝗞 𝗔𝗕𝗛𝗜𝗬𝗔𝗡

Reasi, 20.04.2026:* Reasi Police, under the dynamic leadership of *SSP Reasi Sh. Mukund Tibrewal, IPS,* has intensified its drive against drug abuse, illegal liquor trade, and other unlawful activities across the district under the ongoing *Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan.*Continuing the sustained crackdown, a naka party deployed at Balni Naka, Katra, during routine checking and frisking, noticed one suspicious person on foot approaching towards Katra. The individual was intercepted and subjected to search by the naka party. During checking, he was found carrying 12 bottles (250 ml each) of JK Special Whisky illegally.Upon questioning, the accused disclosed his identity as Sunil Singh S/o Shiv Ram R/o Mari, Tehsil & District Reasi. The illicit liquor was seized on the spot and the accused was taken into custody.In this regard, Case FIR No. 114/2026 U/S 223(a) has been registered at Police Station Katra and further investigation has been taken up.The operation was conducted under the supervision of 𝗦𝗛𝗢 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮, 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵 𝗥𝗮𝗼, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗗𝗣𝗢 𝗞𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗮, 𝗗𝗿.
