𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶, 𝟭𝟮 𝗙𝗲𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲: District Police Reasi, under the leadership of 𝗦𝗦𝗣 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶 𝗦𝗵. 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘃𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵, 𝗝𝗞𝗣𝗦, organized Thana Diwas at various locations across the district with the objective of fostering stronger police-public relations, addressing police-related grievances of the common citizens and raising awareness about important legal and social issues.The Thana Diwas programs were conducted at Village Serwad, Village Devigarh, Village Sirla, Village Bharakh, Village Banna and Village Chilladh.During these outreach events, officers interacted with local residents and representatives of civil society, listened patiently to their issues and grievances related to police functioning and assured timely redressal in a transparent manner.Apart from grievance redressal, awareness sessions were held to inform the public about the new criminal laws, including key changes under BNS, BNSS and BSA. Special emphasis was also laid on sensitizing the public about the growing threat of cyber frauds and the menace of drug abuse among youth.Citizens were encouraged to report any suspicious activities or criminal behavior in their localities and to cooperate with police in maintaining peace and order. District Police Reasi remains committed to maintaining law and order, strengthening community ties and ensuring proactive, transparent policing for the safety and well-being of all citizens.
