Reasi, January 24: As part of the ongoing Vande Mataram Phase–II celebrations, the District Administration Reasi today organised a Tiranga Rally on the sixth day of the campaign with great enthusiasm, patriotic fervour and active public participation.The rally was flagged off from General Zorawar Singh Sports Stadium, Reasi by Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Rakesh Kumar, and culminated at the historic Bhimgarh Fort. A large number of district officers, officials and students from various government and private schools of Reasi district participated in the event, reflecting a strong spirit of unity and collective responsibility.The event was organised under the overall guidance of Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, with the primary objective of promoting physical fitness, discipline and a healthy lifestyle among the youth. The Tiranga Rally also aimed to inculcate a sense of patriotism, social responsibility and national pride, while motivating young citizens to actively engage in sports and constructive activities.Adequate arrangements for medical assistance, drinking water, traffic management and security were put in place along the entire route to ensure the safety and convenience of the participants.The rally concluded at Bhimgarh Fort with a brief programme, during which participants were appreciated for their energetic and disciplined participation. The organisers commended the youth for demonstrating enthusiasm, endurance and commitment to the ideals of the Vande Mataram initiative.The event added vibrancy and momentum to the ongoing celebrations and underscored the district administration’s resolve to involve youth in nation-building activities through sports, awareness campaigns and community participation.Additional SP Ifthekar Ahmed, CEO Deepak Kumar, PO POSHAN Sudershan Kumar, DYSSO and other district officers were present on the occasion.
